Long Island Life Coach
: Coaching for Moms

Welcome...

What Is Coaching?

Let me begin by telling you that coaching is NOT therapy.  Therapy is done by "therapists," an interaction between client & therapist.

Coaching on the other hand is an adventure, a courageous adventure; as such a journey ventured by coach and client.  We work together to identify what is most important, what are your true desires and priorities, what is it that YOU want to achieve, personally and/or professionally.

I am on your team, with your goals being a priority to me.  By communicating with one and other, we maintain on ongoing dialogue free of judgment and filled with acceptance.  This in turn leads to the realization of how great your potential truly is and where it lies.

What is the Coach's Role:

Coaches are more than friends with whom you share a problem with.  We are those whom you seek a solution with.  We understand the power of a partnership, in a worry-free relationship.  In some cases we "mentor" and in others we "cheer" on your accomplishments.

Your committment towards seeking happiness, success, joy, purpose, and true fulfillment are shared with me.  Your success is my success.  together we identify obstacles keeping you from fulfilling your purpose.  By setting goals, small to big, we eliminate obstacles that are keeping you from success.

How does this work?

So, you want to get started!  How do we do it?  We succeed by keeping in contact with one and other and by truly communicating.  Through communication we are able to unveil the covers that hide the roots of our misfortunes.

We use many different tools and YES, you do receive homework.  Homework or "Life Assignments" that you are asked to complete is a significant part of working together.  Completion of these tasks, strengthen your committment bringing you each day another step closer to success.

How Often Do We Meet or Have Contact?

A typical coaching relationship begins with speaking several times a month, usually 2/3 time per week.  For those living locally, personal meetings are arranged during the month as well.  Those living outside the Long Island area would receive coaching via webcam, teleconference, e-mails and faxing.  Technology is awesome, isn't it?

Calls between sessions, or "touching base" calls are welcome, but are requested to be kept to a maxium of five minutes.  I know, sometimes that burst of "I've completed somthing," just can't wait until the next appointment.  So, call or drop and e-mail.  Your time is respected as well as mine.

Sounds good, drop us an e-mail and we will contact you with information, as well as how to go about your free introductory phone call and session.
